Acorn Financial Services

All Together. Different.

Hello, I am Robert Lecky and welcome.

As an Acorn Financial Services professional, I am dedicated to helping individuals and businesses build and protect their financial assets.

As a prerequisite for marketing to people like you, I have successfully completed both the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 examinations.  In addition, I attend on a regular basis industry training and certification programs.

My professional and academic background is as follows:

My financial services career has spanned over 30 years with firms such as Citigroup/Citibank and Credit Suisse.  I have marketed complex financial structures to sophisticated investors.  I also have managed proprietary trading of cash, and exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives.  In addition, I have been a senior risk management consultant.  I joined Acorn Financial Services in May 2007, and I am focusing on delivering asset protection and wealth accumulation solutions for high net worth individuals and small businesses.  I graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1971 with a BA in History and took graduate courses in business at the University of Virginia.

My experiences have fostered my practical approach to offering financial services and advice to my clients. Rather than just recommending a hodgepodge of products, I first will consider your specific financial goals and investment objectives. Working together, we will formulate a strategy to help you achieve your goals. Then I’ll recommend the appropriate products and services to help you execute your strategy.

Thank you for visiting my website.

A Simple Way to Help Your Family

A letter of instructions, while not a legal document, can help your family cope during a difficult period by providing information that has no place in a will.

Separate Your Business from Your Portfolio

Allocating too much of your investment capital to one company — even your own — is a risky proposition.

Mark Your Calendar

Once we approach the end of our working years, birthdays take on a renewed importance.

The Positives of Negative Correlation

Few asset groups are perfectly negatively correlated, but a portfolio may still be able to benefit from the correlation principle.
